First steps

With the extension installed there is a clickable icon in the “active extensions group”:

Clicking the icon brings up the side panel. You can also choose to “pin” the Extension to have it available in your toolbar at all times.

Connect to Services

Before the user can use all features, it is necessary to register and grant permission for the Atlassian and Google services (using their OAuth authorisation). Simply do so by clicking the “Connect” button.

There will be a familiar authorisation dialog from both provider.

Once the permissions are granted the extension redirects to our home screen.

Home / Welcome page

When starting JIGO after being authenticated, you will be welcomed with the general home screen.

You can now choose between different actions, learn more on the specific documentation pages.

Settings page

Instance selection

If a user has access to multiple Jira instances, the first option selection can be used to select which one to work on.

Themes

Select Atlassian's “Dark“ or “Light“ theme, or follow the system default.

UI Scale

Choose a custom size for the extensions interfaces and forms.

Multi/Single Tab Mode

With multi tab mode enabled the extension will use information from all the open tabs. Turning this off ensures that only the content from the currently viewed page will be used.

For example (assuming multi mode is enabled), while linking content (mails, files, …) it doesn’t matter if the corresponding page (Gmail, Drive, …) is active or in a not viewed tab.

Revoke Access

Clicking this button clears the cached OAuth information and sends the user to the Connect Page.
