Setup & Installation
To guarantee a smooth setup of Jigo, we strongly advise involving your Jira administrator and, if you're using the Browser Extension or Google Workspace Add-On, your Google Workspace administrator right from the start. We especially recommend the Browser Extension for its powerful additional features.
This proactive step helps you avoid delays, as both administrators will need to take action at different points in the process.
Step 1: Install Jira App
Install JIGO - Google Workspace for Jira from the Atlassian Marketplace.
Permission necessary: Jira Administrator
Step 2: Configure App
Go to the Settings page of the JIGO - Google Workspace for Jira app, and activate your desired features.
You can read more about the specific Configuration sections here.

Step 3: Use the Jira app
Users can now use the Jira app. Users may need to authenticate to their google accounts when they first use the Jira App, see more information here.
Optional step: Install Browser Extension and/or Google Workspace Add-On
Experience the full collaboration potential of our integration by using the Workspace Add-On or Chrome Browser Extension.
Please note: In instances with blocked user installed apps, an administrator may need to approve the Browser Extension and Workspace Add-On apps in the requested apps section in the instance administration. Read more about how to approve a requested app.
