Version 1.6.4, 2025-12-04

Atlassian Marketplace Version: 1.3.9-AC

  • Gemini

    • Due to recent changes in the Google Gemini API some models were no longer available, which caused some problems when using AI features without using your own Gemini API key.
We adjusted this part and AI features should now work again even when not using your own Gemini API key.

Version 1.6.3, 2025-11-03

Atlassian Marketplace Version: 1.3.9-AC

  • Configuration

    • Linking existing elements (mails, chat spaces, events) can now be disabled for each separate Module (Gmail, Chat, Calendar). This was introduced to make sure no sensitive communication is shared by mistake. This setting will not affect any mail sent and/or chat spaces or events created with Jigo.

  • Gmail

    • AI summarize: Summarize linked Emails and Threads inside Jira.

    • OAuth Update: Users are now able to consent to each Google service separately or all at once (like before V1.6.2).
This means if you, for example, only use the features of one service (e.g. Gmail), you will now only need to consent to the permissions (scopes) required for that specific service.
More details about the permissions used for each panel or service are available here.

  • Chat

    • AI summarize: Quickly summarize any linked Chat Space inside Jira.

Version 1.6.0, 2025-08-28

Atlassian Marketplace Version: 1.3.7-AC

Google OAuth scopes updated

To make the new Google Chat integration work and improve other aspects of Jigo, we've added a few new Google OAuth scopes. While using the integration, you'll be prompted to grant consent to these new permissions. You will see a notification/overlay in our panels until you approve the new scopes. More details here.

Some features may require a manual update in the Connected Apps / Atlassian Jira UPM (Universal Plugin Manager) screen.

  • Chat

    • Chat directly in Jira: We’re exited to finally release this very desired feature, which allows teams to quickly communicate via Google Chat™ without leaving Jira. This first version integrates most features, like images, reactions and mentions. Answering in threads will be implemented soon in version 1.6.1.
This “Chat in Jira” functionality will be improved more over time - tell us what you’d like to see!
(This feature may require a manual update)
