Similar to the Workspace Add-On, the Browser Extension (currently only available for Chrome) provides a seamless integration with Jira, allowing users to create and manage Jira issues directly from their Gmail inbox, including more features for Google Chat™, Google Calendar™ and Google Drive™. The browser presents a sidebar from which the user can access issue-dependent functions and shortcuts.
Here are just a few examples to better understand the usability of the Browser Extension:
Gmail
While a mail in Gmail is open, the user can directly link this mail to an existing issue or create a new issue with it.Google Chat
Selected files in Google Drive can be uploaded to issues.Google Calendar
Clicking on a event in Google Calendar allows to link it with an issue.Google Drive
Select one or multiple files to upload or link the selected files to an issue.

Pleace note, only admins can enable the Jira app for the organization.
