The 'My JSM Assets' page acts like your personal a tailored asset inventory for every component and team. It gathers and displays all the assets that are connected to your Atlassian user accountwere configured.

This page is identical across all components, teams, and the global page.

Important: If you're missing assets that you believe should be displayed, they might have been excluded by your Jira Compass administrator in the app's configuration. Please contact your administrator to adjust the visibility settings.

  • Name: Sorts the assets alphabetically by their name. This is useful for quickly finding a specific asset.

  • Breadcrumb: This option sorts assets based on their hierarchical structure and their name. This means assets are first grouped by their location in the asset hierarchy, and then within each group, they are sorted alphabetically by name.

Search within

The 'Search within' dropdown menu allows checkboxes allow you to refine your search by specifying which asset attributes to search within. For example, you could choose to search within the asset's name, breadcrumb, or attributes. This helps you narrow down your search and find the exact assets you're looking for.

The search bar is where you can actively search for specific assets within your 'My JSM Assets' page. Based on the attributes you've selected in the 'Search within' menu, you can type in keywords, names, descriptions, or any other relevant information to find the assets you need.

If you're looking for a laptop with a specific model name, you need to select 'Attributes' in under the 'Search within' dropdowncheckboxes. Then, type the model name in the search bar, and the app will display matching laptops.

Note: If no results appear immediately, make sure you've selected 'Attributes' in under the 'Search within' dropdowncheckboxes. You might need to start typing a name in the search bar to trigger the search.
